One of my favorite all time students, Carter Davis,
is on his way to Presbyterian College to play golf.
Carter played his way to the NCISAA Division II Championship Tournament 4 consecutive years as an individual player  representing Spartanburg Day School. In the  9th and 10 grade he won the conference championship.
In the 10th grade he finished 8th in the state.
As a senior  he finished second in the conference and came in 13th in the state tournament.

Good luck, Carter!
What a magnificent  high school career,
both in the classroom and on the golf course.

Donna's Tip #627

Shanking - a fearing not a feeling. The lack of proper wrist cock and release are the culprits behind the "theory" of a shanked shot. However, I believe that because the swinging of a shorter club promotes a shank, the actual cause can be termed "wooden wrist". In order to prevent, stop or never have the "shanks" deliver the club head more inside the golf ball while retaining the wrist cock longer on the downswing. One sure fire cure is to place a board about 1 inch outside the ball and swing down that line without hitting the board.
